Mikrosay has a long R&D history, allowing the company to stay within the cutting-edge technology frontier.

Over the years, Mikrosay has designed and developed Turkey’s first data acquisition system which was used in various test environments. Eventually, Mikrosay has enhanced and upgraded this product to become Turkey’s first SCADA program: TEOS. With more than 2000 applications, TEOS has found a place for itself in manufacturing, building automation as well as private sector.

Mikrosay has designed and manufactured not only the hardware but also the software of a wide array of numerous prototypes’ electronic components for start-ups all over the world; from control systems for gas wells to carbon-monoxide measurement for closed parking spaces, from implementing various communication protocols for building automation network to energy management systems.

As part of European Commission’s 7th Framework Program, Mikrosay has completed 3 projects via TEOS Tank Management System with a special focus to aid in the acquisition of petrol tanks. Due to outstanding performance, Mikrosay was appointed as project coordinator, not once but twice. Among the successfully completed projects for EU are:
- Automatic maintenance of wind turbine components. In due time, electronic components within the wind turbine will succumb degrade causing loss of efficiency. Mikrosay has created a system where the wind turbine as a whole will estimate and then compensate for the degradation of the faulty component to upkeep productivity and will notify when it can’t.
- Diagnostic system for detecting material fatigue in wind turbine blades that monitors and estimates the degradation of components.
- Diagnostic program for pool scraper equipment used in water treatment. Monitoring, detecting and preventing the wear and tear of gears especially used for waste water/sewage treatment facilities.
Mikrosay continues to be a valued and trusted partner of EU, partnering with the commission for Horizon 2020 initiative. Currently, as part of a Fast Track Innovation (FTI) program, Mikrosay is the lead manufacturer in a project regarding remote long-term monitoring of critical infrastructure with key safety movement band tolerance in landslide vulnerable areas.

Meanwhile Mikrosay designed and produced gas pressure regulator test-rigs for notable gas distributor companies, chiefly for İGDAŞ - the main gas distributor for Istanbul, the biggest city of Turkey with a population of over 16 million people.

Mikrosay is also the parent company of TrioVita: Ozone Disinfection System. Born as a result of continuous research over 15 years into the ozone molecule has led to the creation of a series of ozone generators that disinfects air and water in households, cars and larger enclosed spaces.
